Privacy policy

Data collected

When you fill in our booking request form, we collect the data you provide: name, email address, residence, requested stay dates, number of guests and message. No banking data is collected or processed through this site.

Purpose & legal basis

This data is used solely to respond to your request, organise your stay and manage our relationship. The legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual measures taken at your request.

Form processing

Requests sent via the form are processed by the Formspree service, which forwards them to our mailbox. Formspree acts as a data processor; its own terms and safeguards apply to the message transport.

Retention period

Your data is kept for as long as necessary to handle your request and stay, then archived or deleted in accordance with legal obligations (at most 3 years after the last contact).

Your rights

In accordance with the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, object to and port your data. To exercise these rights, write to us at contact@sb-residences.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the French CNIL (www.cnil.fr).

Cookies

This site uses no tracking cookies or advertising trackers. Public pages use separate French and English URLs; no local storage is used on these pages to remember your language choice. No data is shared with third parties for analytics or advertising.

General Terms

These terms govern the short-term rental of the furnished accommodations offered by SCI CROUZILLE under the S&B Private Residences brand: Le Belvédère (26 rue du Dr Bouchard) and Le Loft (9 rue Pascal), in Saumur.

Booking & payment

Any booking request made via the site constitutes a booking intention, confirmed by us by return message. The booking becomes firm upon receipt of the deposit. Terms: 30% deposit at booking, balance due 7 days before arrival.
Accepted payment methods: direct bank transfer, or card via Stripe (secure payment link — no banking data passes through this site). An invoice can be issued on request.

Cancellation policy

Cancellation more than 7 days before arrival: full refund of amounts paid.
Cancellation less than 7 days before arrival: the 30% deposit is retained. The balance, already due by that point, offsets the unavailability of the accommodation, which is hard to re-let directly at such short notice.

Check-in & check-out

Check-in from 3:00 PM — check-out before 10:00 AM.
Self check-in via secure key box; the code is provided on the day of arrival.
Maximum occupancy: 4 guests (Le Belvédère), 2 guests (Le Loft). This number may not be exceeded.

Deposit & house rules

A security deposit, the amount of which is specified at booking depending on the accommodation, may be requested. The accommodation is non-smoking. Parties and events are not permitted. Pets are not allowed. The guest agrees to respect the neighbourhood and to return the accommodation in good condition.

Tourist tax

In accordance with the regulations of the Saumur Val de Loire Agglomeration, a tourist tax is collected in addition to the rental price, per person and per night. As our accommodations are pending classification, the rate applicable in 2026 is 5% of the pre-tax nightly price per person, plus a 10% additional departmental tax, capped at €5.28 per person per night.

The exact amount is calculated according to your stay's rate and is shown at confirmation and on your invoice. Exemptions include minors and holders of a seasonal employment contract within the territory.

Liability & disputes

SCI CROUZILLE cannot be held liable for damage resulting from improper use of the accommodation. These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought first; failing that, the competent courts will be those of the jurisdiction of the rented accommodation.
